Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions section.
2.
Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
3.
If installed, remove the front bezel.
Steps
1.
Remove the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier from the system.
2.
Remove the screws from the rails on the hot swappable hard drive carrier.
3.
Lift the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter out of the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier.
