The machine can make about 100,000 prints (A4) after indicating the message (in the case of A3, 50,000
prints).
9.1.6 Controlling the Thermistor Reciprocating Mechanism
To prevent the thermistor (TH1) from scratching the fixing upper roller, the machine moves the thermistor
back and forth 12 mm in the axial direction of the fixing upper roller.
The drive used to move the thermistor is obtained from the web drive solenoid (SL2) by way of a one-way
arm (to reach the reciprocating cam).
