APPENDICES 1 SOFTWARE TO WRITE THE SERIAL NUMBER
Operation of the software to write the serial number into PT-2300/2310
General
This software writes the serial number into the EEPROM mounted on the main PCB when
replacing the main PCB.
<Operation Procedure>
* Before writing the serial number
• Check that the OS of your PC is Windows 98 or Windows 98SE.
• Install the driver beforehand.

Connect the USB cable between PT-2300/2310 and the PC.
(2)
After starting the OS, turn on the power switch of PT-2300/2310.
(3)
Double-click and start the software to write the serial number of PT-2300/2310 (file
name:pt23test.exe). The window as shown below appears.

Select 'PTUSB (PT-2300/2310-000000001)' in the pull-down box of the [Port name: ] in Fig.
1 and click the [OK] button. The window as shown below appears.
