    Password considerations A password can be any combination of up to 16 characters (A-Z, a-z and 0-9). For security reasons, it is a good idea to use a strong password that cannot be easily compromised.     Advanced settings On some computer models, the Advanced menu includes a setting to enable or disable HyperThreading. This feature works only with HyperThreading-aware operating systems, such as Windows Vista and Windows XP. The default setting for HyperThreading is Enabled. However, if you select Set Defaults and are using an operating system other than Windows Vista or Windows XP, your computer performance might be degraded.
