Problem solving guide
With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be corrected without a
service call.
Any work required on the electrical components of the appliance should only
be performed by a qualified and trained person in accordance with local and
national regulations. Unauthorized repairs could be dangerous.
Problem
The "Start" indicator
does not light after
pressing the On/Off but-
ton.
The "Start" indicator
light is on, but the dish-
washer is not running.
The dishwasher stops
during a program
The "Intake/Drain" indi-
cator lights during the
"Energy Saver" pro-
gram.
Possible cause
The door is not closed
tightly.
The machine is not
plugged in.
The circuit breaker is de-
fective or has "tripped".
The program selector is in
the "Stop" position.
The circuit breaker has
"tripped".
The water entering the
machine is not at the min-
imum temperature of
45 °C/115 °F.

Remedy
Close the door com-
pletely.
Insert the plug.
Reset the circuit breaker.
