Setting Surface Controls ABOUT THE CERAMIC GLASS COOKTOP The ceramic cooktop has radiant surface elements located below the surface of the glass. The design of the ceramic cooktop outlines the area of the surface element underneath. Make sure the diameter of the pan matches the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop (See Figs.

Raise or lower setting until proper amount of heat is obtained. POOR COOKING RESULTS • Many factors affect cooking results. Adjust the recipe's recommended power levels or cooking times.
Solutions to Common Problems BROWN STREAKS AND SPECKS ON CERAMIC GLASS COOKTOP SURFACE • Boilovers have cooked onto surface. Use razor blade scraper to remove soil. See instructions under General Care & Cleaning. • Cleaning materials not recommended for ceramic-glass cooktop have been used. Use recommended cleaners and cleaning method.
