• Voice data movement is done in overlay mode. If voice
data already exists at the position you move to, it is
overwritten.
• If the sub clip contains an empty section with no
recorded video, audio, or voice data, the empty section is
deleted when you move voice data.

In the EDIT LIST screen, select the sub clip that
contains the voice data that you want to move.
To operate in the Clip List (Trim) screen
After step 1, press the RECALL button to switch to the
Clip List (Trim) screen.

With the GOTO button held down, press the + TRIM
button or the – TRIM button. Or, with the GOTO
button held down, turn the PUSH SET knob.
The voice In point moves by one frame.

Press the AUDIO EDIT button.
The voice data move is confirmed.
To set up mixing of audio/voice data
output signals
By setup menu settings, you can mix voice and audio data
output signals into the output signals of specified channels
(1 to 8).

Set MIX/SWAP on the P2 AUDIO page of the
function menu to "ON".

Turn the PUSH SET knob to move "*" to MIX A OUT
or MIX B OUT, and then press the PUSH SET knob.

To display voice clips
Insert a disc with recorded voice clips into the unit, and
then press the DISPLAY button in the clip thumbnail
screen. This switches the screen to the voice clip screen.
You can check the voice clips recorded with the voice-over
editing functions.
Output channels
Turn the PUSH SET knob to move "p" to the channel
that you want to designate for mixing, and the press the
PUSH SET knob.
You can now turn the selected output channel on and
off.
To toggle the output channel on (highlighted) or off
Do one of the following.
• Turn the PUSH SET knob.
• Press the – or + function button (F3 or F4).
To confirm the settings
Press the PUSH SET knob.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to set the required output
channels.
You can select multiple channels for both MIX A OUT
and MIX B OUT.
Turn the PUSH SET knob to move "*" to MIX A OUT
or MIX B OUT, and then press the PUSH SET knob.
Turn the PUSH SET knob to move "p" to the audio/
voice data output channel that you want to designate
for mixing, and then press the PUSH SET knob.
You can now turn the make an on or off setting for the
selected channel.
Repeat steps 6 and 7 to set the channels that you want
to mix.
You can select multiple channels for both MIX A and
MIX B.
Press the SAVE function button (F5).
The settings are saved and the unit exits settings mode.
Audio and voice signals are mixed into the specified
output channels.
