Quick test programs Lenovo provides quick test programs to troubleshoot and resolve computer problems, especially when the computer does not have the Lenovo Solution Center program installed. To download and install a quick test program, go to https://www.lenovo.com/diags , and follow the instructions on the Web site.
If the computer you are servicing is not installed with the UEFI diagnostic program, you can download a bootable diagnostic program from the Lenovo Support Web site. The bootable diagnostic programs enable you to test computer memory and internal storage devices, view system information, and check and recover the internal storage devices.
To check the ac power adapter, do the following: 1. Connect the computer to a power outlet and turn on the computer. 2. Start Lenovo Companion program, and then click Hardware Settings ➙ Power. The ac power adapter information is displayed.
