FDT2108D-288 and FDT2108D-576 can be installed only on the ground. Building a Concrete Base The FDT2108D-288 and FDT2108D-576 can be installed on the ground in the same way except that they differ in the dimensions of the cabinet bases and the concrete bases. Specific dimensional differences will be described in the following. - Page 11 Step 3 a) Plan the dimensions of the concrete base, and build the base. b) Determine the installation positions using the marking-off template, drill Φ16 mm holes at the planned positions using a hammer drill, and install expansion bolts. Punch a hole in the ground cable aperture and lead the ground cable on the cabinet and that on the optical cable entry unit out from the left aperture. Securing Bundle Optical Cables Using Hose Clamps Step 1 Lead the optical cable through the hose clamp, insert the strength member into the hole on the fixing post, and secure the strength member and hose clamp. Step 2 Open the cover of the of the integrated splicing and termination tray, lead in the optical fibers covered with fiber protection tubes from the right of the integrated splicing and termination tray, and reserve optical fibers of a certain length by coiling them in the coiling area. Step 3 Strip the optical fibers until fiber cores are seen, clean the fiber cores, splice two optical fibers of the same color together until all the optical fibers are spliced, and heat shrink the fiber cores.
