Remove the three M3x7 Plastite screws that secure the optical engine to the bottom case.

Carefully lift the optical engine and attached controller ECA from the bottom case.

If you need to replace the optical engine, remove the controller ECA (see page 28).

Assembly Notes

Ensure that the speaker cable is not pinched between the bottom of the optical engine and the

bottom case.

♦

Torque the M3x7 Plastite screws to 5.3 in-lbs (0.6 Nm).
