About discs (continued) For MP3/WMA files • An off-the-shelf MP3 disc may be played in an order different from that indicated on the label attached to the disc. • The system supports MP3/WMA files recorded with a bit rate of 32 – 320 kbps and a sampling frequency of 16 kHz, 22.05 kHz, 24 kHz (WMA only), 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz.

Playing Back from the PC This system is equipped with a USB terminal in the door of the front panel. You can connect your PC to this terminal and enjoy the sound out of your PC. When you connect your PC for the first time, follow the procedure below.
Listening to the sound of other audio device Listening to the sound of external audio device Connect the other audio device to this system in advance (page 10). Press AUX. The source changes to AUX. Each time you press the button, the source changes between AUX 1 (front) and AUX 2 (rear).
Adjusting the audio input level If the sound from the audio device connected to the AUX 1 or AUX 2 jack is too loud or is too quiet when changing from another source to “AUX,” you can change the audio input level through the AUX 1 or AUX 2 jack (without changing the volume level).
Setting the daily timer Using the daily timer, you can wake up with your favorite song. • You can store the three daily timer settings; however, you can activate only one of the daily timer. • To correct a misentry during the procedure below, pressing CANCEL can return to the previous step.
Setting the Various Timer (continued) Auto Standby If there is no operation for 3 minutes while the disc is stopped, the power will be automatically turned off. Press A.STANDBY during playback or while the disc is stopped, or no disc is loaded (“NO DISC” appears). The A.STANDBY indicator lights on the display window on the main unit.
