FP-I4C. The FP-I4C can be connected to an existing Ethernet network. It is also possible to set up a separate network for the FP-I4C. The computer can also be directly connected to the FP-I4C by using a special "crossover" Ethernet cable.
The IP address consists of 4 numbers (0 to 255). The first numbers define the network address, the other numbers define the participant's address. The IP address of the FP-I4C can be fixed or it can be allocated dynamically by a DHCP server.
Preinstalled passwords (page 38) Configure the functions of your choice After having connected to the FP-I4C unit with a browser you can start to activate the functions. Please change in the address line of your browser the https://192.168.0.1/machine_config to https://192.168.0.1/fp_config to enable the FP-I4C unit functions.

Each interface should be configured with a communication protocol. Panasonic PLCs use MEWTOCOL by default. • With Autobaud a Panasonic PLC is tested with different baud rates to find the right connection speed (using MEWTOCOL). • The default PLC interface should be set to the interface which is used for your PLC. In a RS485 network the PLC station address is important to communicate with the correct PLC.
