Function Problems Recording The cassette is ejected when you press REC r. Recording cannot be done. Timer Timer settings cannot be recording made. The cassette is ejected when you press TIMER REC ON/ OFF. The TIMER REC lamp does not light up even though you press TIMER REC ON/OFF.
In such a case, clean the video heads using the V-25CL video head cleaning tape (not supplied), or ask Sony service personnel to clean the video heads, with this service there would be a standard charge.
