VEGA 23:1 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE Periodically check the air supply line to the pump. Make sure that the air is always clean and lubricated. Before carrying out any control or maintenance operation on the pump, always close the com- pressed air supply and discharge the pressure in the circuit.

VEGA 23:1 • unscrew the gaskets ring nut (J7) form the pump housing. • Remove the split pin (J6). unscrew the group of the suction valve (J8) . • Remove the piston (J9) from the pump housing and replace the gaskets upper set (J10) or lower set (J11) respecting the assembly order of the same.
VEGA 23:1 CLEANING AND REPAIRING THE SUCTION VALVE • If the suction valve is seized in the housing of the pump, inject oil around the thread and knock slightly around the body of the pump by means of a wooden mallet. unscrew the valve from the pump body.
