    How to Use the Printer Driver Adjusting Brightness The Brightness adjustment allows you to adjust the overall brightness level of an image if it is too dark or too bright. This adjustment changes the mid-range colors without affecting the darkest or brightest areas of the image. There are three settings.

    How to Use the Printer Driver Adjusting Sharpness Adjust the sharpness of an image if you feel that the overall appearance of the print result is too fuzzy. You can adjust the sharpness of the image by dragging the slider through four settings, left to 0 or right to 3.

To print an original in one color, click the Single Color Setting checkbox on, and select the color to use.     How to Use the Status Monitor Viewing the Print Status Use these features to monitor the progress of print jobs. Number of Pages Displays the number of document pages to print. Copies Displays the progress of printing the number of copies specified. When printing 10 copies of a 3-page document, for example, while the first page is printed you will see 0001/0010 to 0010/0010.

    Please remember that cleaning consumes ink. Clean the printhead only when necessary. ● If normal cleaning does not solve the problem, then use the printhead deep cleaning. Deep Cleaning Display the Utility sheet in the Canon CX 350 Properties dialog box then click Cleaning.

    Deep cleaning cannot be done during a print job or when an error is occurring. ● Deep cleaning consumes more ink than normal cleaning. Clean the printhead only when necessary. Display the Utility sheet in the Canon CX 350 Properties dialog box then click Deep Cleaning.

Deep cleaning begins. ● If deep cleaning fails to solve the problem, the printhead may require replacement, or there could be some other problem. Contact your local dealer or call the nearest Note service center.

    The printhead adjustment cannot be done while the printer is printing or after an error has occurred. Display the Utility sheet in the Canon CX 350 Properties dialog box then click Printhead Position Adjustment. The Printhead Position Adjustment dialog box opens.

    For details about how to obtain new ink cartridges, please contact the dealer where you purchased the printer or the nearest service center. ● To maintain the best printing quality, please use only CX 350 ink cartridges.
