Connecting Your TV

Connecting remote IR devices

NOTE
To view antenna or Cable channels:
Select the ANT/CABLE video input source on the TV.*
To view the DVD player:
Turn ON the DVD player. Select the ColorStream
on the TV.*
To view satellite programs using the component video connections:
Turn ON the satellite receiver. Select the ColorStream
source on the TV.*
To view the VCR or view and record antenna channels:
Turn ON the VCR. Tune the VCR to the channel you want to watch.
Select the VIDEO video input source on the TV.*
To record a TV program while watching a DVD:
Turn ON the VCR. Tune the VCR to the channel to record. Select the
ColorStream

Connecting remote IR devices

Using the IR blaster OUT terminal

You can use the TV's IR OUT terminal to remotely operate many infrared
remote-controlled devices enclosed in an entertainment center or similar
cabinet.
Items needed:
Dual-wand IR blaster cable (see

Other cables as required to connect the device(s) to the TV (see
"Overview of cable types" on page
See the remote IR blaster setup section (see page 58).
When you use ColorStream
AV mode.
