Installing a security cable As a security measure, you can secure the monitor to a fixed object with an optional security cable. Please follow the security cable supplier’s recommended instructions to install. OOTEN: A security cable (purchased separately) is designed as a deterrent, it is not guaranteed to prevent the device from being mishandled or stolen.

Multiple monitors connection You can daisy-chain monitors to each other using the DisplayPort OUT/IN connections on the monitors. For using connected monitors in MST (multi-stream transport) mode, the setting should be DP OUT MULTISTREAM “AUTO” for each monitor. Please change the setting for the monitor that connects to the computer last. If the monitors do not display an image, turn off the monitor connected to the computer then turn it back on.

Recovering from no image If the monitors do not display an image after configuring [DP OUT MULTISTREAM], please follow the instructions below: 1. Turn off the computer. 2. Touch the MENU key to open the [NO SIGNAL] OSD menu. 3. Touch the key to open the [VIDEO INPUT] menu.

Changing the Input Changing the Input To change the signal input, press the Input key. For HDCP Content HDCP is a system for preventing illegal copying of video data sent over a digital signal. If you are unable to view material via the digital inputs, this does not necessarily mean that the monitor is not functioning properly.

The USB Hub does not operate • Check to make sure that the USB cable is properly connected. Refer to your USB device User’s Manual. • Check that the USB upstream port on the monitor is connected to the USB downstream port on the computer, and make sure the computer is ON.
Human Sensing function The Human Sensing function reduces power consumption by detecting the movement of a person. Using the Auto Brightness function The brightness of the LCD screen can be set to increase or decrease depending on the amount of ambient lighting within the room. If the room is bright, the monitor becomes correspondingly bright. If the room is dim, then the monitor will dim accordingly. The purpose of this function is to make the viewing experience more comfortable to the eye in a variety of lighting conditions.

ECO TOOLS ECO TOOLS Menu BRIGHTNESS Adjusts the overall image and background screen brightness. If [ECO MODE] is set to [1] or [2], a bar for [CARBON FOOTPRINT] will appear. CONTRAST Adjusts the overall image and background screen brightness by input signal level. OOTEN: This function is disabled when [L/B] is selected in the Color Control System.
ECO TOOLS Menu HUMAN SENSING The sensor detects the movement of a person by using the [HUMAN SENSING] function. The [HUMAN SENSING] function has three settings. OOTEN: Detects a person within about 1.5 m from the monitor. Does not function. 1 (LIGHT) After it detects that there is no person during a period of time, the monitor shifts to low brightness mode automatically to reduce the power consumption.
COLOR COLOR Menu Color Control System Color presets are available for adjusting color settings. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Increases or decreases the [RED], [GREEN] or [BLUE] color depending upon which is selected. The change in color will appear on screen and the direction (increase or decrease) will be shown by the bars.
TOOLS Menu OFF TIMER The monitor will automatically power off after a period of time has passed, which you can set. Before powering off, a message will appear on the screen asking if you want to delay the turn off time by 60 minutes.
