GETTING
WITH YOUR
FRIGIDAIRE 20 CU FT REFRIGERATOR
BEFORE YOU START
Set up your refrigerator
Prior to using the refrigerator, make sure it is located on a floor that is level and
strong enough to support it fully loaded. Check out INSTALLATION in your Use &
Care Guide to see how to set the anti-tip bracket.
Before operating for the first time
Clean the inside of your appliance before using it. See the CARE AND CLEANING
section in your Use & Care Guide.
YOU'RE IN CONTROL
Set your refrigerator temperature
It's easy! When first turning your appliance on, adjust to
Recommended. To ensure safe food storage, allow the appliance to
operate with the door closed for at least 8 hours before loading it
with food. If necessary, we recommend you adjust the temperature
gradually, in small increments, allowing the temperature to stabilize.
1. For warmer temperatures, adjust the setting to Cold. For colder
temperatures, adjust the setting to Coldest.
2. The control can be left at the factory preset
(Recommended) or adjusted as desired.
3. If the temperature inside the cabinet increases, the red High Temp* light
will illuminate and the alarm will sound.
4. The Chill Boost* mode quickly drives the appliance to a colder
temperature and stays active for up to 24 hours before automatically
deactivating or being manually exited.
5. Pressing the Temp* button will allow you to scroll through the five
temperature settings from Cold (top) to Coldest (bottom), and then loop
back to Cold.
*Refer to your Use & Care Guide for detailed information.
