Grasp the clips at the back and pull forward and up to remove the lower plate. Personal Injury Hazard Always unplug the vacuum cleaner before cleaning the brush area as brush may suddenly restart. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
TOREPLACE BELT: Be/t Shaft Loop the new belt on the motor drive shaft. (NOTE: See page 3 for Belt #,) Loop the other end of the belt on the belt groove on the brush assembly. Align the square extension on each end cap with the slots in the frame of the base.
